The Delaware County Summer Employment Program places youth across Delaware County in summer jobs in their own communities. These work experiences assist young people in improving their workplace skills, developing positive contacts, and exploring fields of interest. The CDO Staff and Worksite Supervisors work hard to develop the skills that today's youth need to be successful, not only in their summer job placements, but in all of their future employment endeavors. Funding for our summer program is provided by the Office of Temporary Disability Assistance/Delaware County Department of Social Services. In addition, we receive funding from the O'Connor Foundation and Walton Fairgrounds. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve youth in our community.
