Molli Oppramolla
Molli has been working at Bright Hill Press for the summer. Her favorite job to do is work with the kids because they are fun to be around. Something new she has learned on the job is how to make a website. Her advice that she gives is to know that it is challenging work, but you get to learn a lot of good skills and it is in a good environment.
Preston VanWie
This summer Preston has been working at Delaware Academy Custodial. What he likes most about his job is that he can be proud of his work and see it all when school starts in September. His favorite job to do is change the air filters because it gives him a challenge. Preston's goal is to save money for a trip to Spain.
Collin Sparling
Collin has been working at Huyck Valley Farm. He likes his job because it keeps him busy all day and he likes the coworkers he is paired with. His favorite jobs to do are throwing hay and getting feed for the animals. Something new this year is that he shows a better work ethic and learning to communicate with his employers more. Advice that Collin gives is that you have to be okay with the smell of a farm, and knowing that you will be working hard.
Dustin Coffey
Dustin has been working at DCHA/Hannaford Mills this summer. Dustin says the best part about his jobs are the friends that he has made while working. He enjoys all of the jobs he is given because he likes working hard. Advice that he gives is to be cooperative, and to get along with your peers. Dustin plans on saving the money he earns this summer.
Austin Wright
This summer Austin has been working at The Tulip and Rose. He loves his job because he gets to learn new things like prepping foods. Something new he has learned is how to prepare a duck to serve to someone. Advice that he gives is to always have a rag to help clean up and to look to make sure tables are taken care of.
Nate Moon
Nate has been working at SUNY Delhi with the maintenance staff. He likes his job because he is able to see the difference between the rooms when he is done cleaning and preparing them. Advice that Nate gives is to always be on time and be ready to get sweaty. Nate is planning on putting his money in his college fund to help him buy books for this upcoming semester at college.
