South Kortright
Cody Estus
Cody has been working at the South Kortright School Bus Garage for the summer. He really likes his job because he is able to not only help out the school, but the bus drivers as well. One benefit of this program as he has learned how to handle more responsibility which will help in both work and school. Advice that he gives is to not slack off because there is always more work that needs to be done!
Jaidahn Cane
Jaindahn likes working with his supervisor Randy at South Kortright Bus Garage because he can joke around, but is serious if he needs to be. One thing he has learned is to double check his work to make sure it is the best it can be before he tells Randy the job is done.
Cody Mattice
For the summer Cody has been working at the South Kortright Central School Kitchen. He likes the fact that his supervisor is extremely helpful and gives him advice on how to do his job an easier way. The best part of his work day is serving the kids their food because it is a lot more fun than making it.
Emily Feltman
Emily has been working at the South Kortright Central School in the Kitchen. Her favorite tasks to do are washing the trays and being able to put together sandwiches. After working all summer she has been able to learn where everything goes in the kitchen and has been able to organize it after working for that day.
Madeline Demming
The South Kortright Central School CROP program has enjoyed having Madeline supervising the kids this year. Madeline's favorite job is helping the kids learn how to spell and write their names. She reports that this work experience has really helped her open up and feel more confident in her teaching abilities.
Grace Schneider
Grace has been working at the South Kortright Central School in the CROP program. One of the most positive outcomes from working here was getting close with the kids because they really look up to her. Grace has been able to take on additional responsibilities and earned respect from her supervisor.
Ethan Schmid
For the summer Ethan has been working at South Kortright Central School. Something he has learned while working here is that kids don't always listen and can be disrespectful. His biggest accomplishment while working this summer is helping one of the kids make friends. He is gaining experience working with kids and patience.
Jordan Finch
This summer Jordan has been working at the South Kortright Central School with the CROP Program. Something new that she has learned is how to help kids make a compromise when they are in a disagreement. Her favorite responsibility is to help the kids with their school work and solve problems that they are stuck on.
Sophia Biagini
Sophia has been working at South Kortright Central School with the CROP Program for the summer. The one thing she really enjoys about working here is being involved with the kids and feeling like she is wanted in the classroom. One thing she wishes she had while working here is a set of eyes in the back of her head... The kids always manage to get into something they aren't supposed to. One comment she made was, "I'm really happy I've got the chance to be a part of such a great program!"
Ashley Sarno
This summer Ashley has been working at the South Kortright Central School with the CROP Program. Her favorite job to do with the kids is to help them cook because it helps them with multiple skills like math, and reading. When working here she has been able to learn more about each individual kid and what their interests are.
Desirae Jutrzenka
Desirae's favorite job at South Kortright Crop is helping the kids improve their math skills. It is a huge reward to see their faces light up when they get the right answer. Her favorite memeory of working here is being told that she is doing an amazing job by her supervisors.
