Carmella Cioffi

This summer Carmella has been working at the Walton Senior Meals. She really likes the fact that her supervisor is very easy going, but can be strict if need be. She has learned how to make food for a larger group of people. She said this will help her during the holidays when she has to make enough food for her family.

Benjamin Conrow

For the summer, Benjamin has been working at Healing Waters Farm. He really likes his supervisor John because he is outgoing, understanding, and very helpful with everything. His biggest accomplishment is being able to learn more about the animals and the proper ways to care for them.

Robert Swiatek

Robert has been working at Healing Waters Farm for the summer. He likes working with his coworkers and supervisor because they all get along well together. While working here he has gained better time management skills, and feels that he his becoming physically stronger. Robert never thought that farm work would be something he would enjoy, but after working here it has really changed his mind.

Jarod Bartlett

For the summer Jarod has been working at the Walton Central School. The biggest thing he has accomplished while working this summer is they finished moving all the desks to their specific classrooms. He likes the fact that he is getting more experience with people and becoming more outgoing.

Noah Condon

Noah has learned a lot of cleaning tips while working hard at Walton Central School. An accomplishment was getting all of the school lockers cleaned out and ready for the next school year.

Sophia Elston

This summer Sophia has been working at the Walton Central School Bus Garage. She enjoyed working with her supervisor Tracy because he is funny and very relaxed. The main job she had here is cleaning both the inside and outside of the buses, and by the end of the summer all of the buses had been cleaned. This job has taught her valuable information not only about working, but also about automobiles and how to properly care for them.

Celestine Mingle

This summer Celestine has been working at Molto Espresso. The biggest accomplishment she has made is learning how to close the shop, and all the details that go into it. She has gained more experience with customer service, and learning how to make all of the drink choices that are offered at the cafe.

Kathlyn Bakker

Kathlyn has been at Walton Senior Meals for the summer. She enjoys being able to learn how the food is made and prepared for the guests. This job has given her more patience especially when waiting for the food to be cooked. Her experience with this program has given her skills that she will be able to use for the rest of her life.

Natasha Wayman

This summer Natasha has been working at Healing Waters Farm. She enjoys this job because she is able to feed and play with the different types of animals on the farm. Some of the animals she likes are the horses and peacocks. A new skill she learned is how to bunch hay properly.

Makayla Whiteside

Makayla has been working at Delaware Valley Hospital in the Finance Center. One great skill that she has learned here that will help her when she is in college is how to make/use spreadsheets in excel. She enjoys working with all of her co-workers because they are all nice and very helpful.

Kaitlyn Escobar

While working at Walton Central School Kaitlyn has raised her self confidence knowing she can do a lot more than she thought. She has been able to lift and move objects in the school and is already seeing improvements in herself.

Ryan Hanley

For the summer Ryan has been working at the Walton Central School Bus Garage. One thing he likes about working here is that his supervisors explain the tasks he is supposed to accomplish that day very clearly. He has learned more cleaning skills when it comes to vehicles, which is coming in handy because he is saving up to buy a car.

Samantha Sebastian

Samantha has been working at Gramma D's for the summer. Something she has gained while working here is being fast but also efficient in her work. When working the food industry it has to be done in a timely manner, but also done correctly. She has been able to open up more and become less shy while working here. She really loved working in the program and said she looks forward to applying next year.

Ethan McNamara

For the summer Ethan has been working at Delaware Valley Hospital with the Custodial Staff. His favorite job was getting to mop the floors because it really helps to make the hospital look clean. He liked all of his coworkers because they were really nice, and taught him how to do everything properly. Advice that he gives is to always be careful when working with the cleaning solutions.
